Six teams is the round robin sweet spot: everyone plays five real games, it is 15 matches total, and it fits a league night per round or a single long day. This tool generates the results grid and keeps standings automatically.
6 teams · 15 matches · everyone plays 5
Six teams, everyone plays everyone once: 15 matches, played as 5 rounds of 3 simultaneous matches if you have three playing surfaces. Each team plays exactly once per round — no idle team, which is the quiet advantage of even-numbered fields.
The standard rotation (circle method): fix team 1 in place, arrange 2–6 around it, rotate everyone but team 1 one position clockwise each round. Written out with three surfaces per round:
One surface? Same pairings, played in any order — 15 games at your own pace. This tool tracks the results grid; play them in whatever order the night allows.
Win count ranks the table; head-to-head settles most ties (the W/L grid makes that a glance). For leagues that want a climax, the standard finish is a top-4 playoff — seed 1v4 and 2v3 into a quick single elim bracket. Create a second bracket for that when the round robin wraps.
