2–64 participants. One name per line or comma-separated.

The Numbers

Six teams, everyone plays everyone once: 15 matches, played as 5 rounds of 3 simultaneous matches if you have three playing surfaces. Each team plays exactly once per round — no idle team, which is the quiet advantage of even-numbered fields.

The Rotation

The standard rotation (circle method): fix team 1 in place, arrange 2–6 around it, rotate everyone but team 1 one position clockwise each round. Written out with three surfaces per round:

One surface? Same pairings, played in any order — 15 games at your own pace. This tool tracks the results grid; play them in whatever order the night allows.

Standings and What Comes After

Win count ranks the table; head-to-head settles most ties (the W/L grid makes that a glance). For leagues that want a climax, the standard finish is a top-4 playoff — seed 1v4 and 2v3 into a quick single elim bracket. Create a second bracket for that when the round robin wraps.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take?
15 matches. Three surfaces: 5 rounds, one evening. One surface: about three league nights at 5 games a night.
What about 5 teams?
Use this with 5 entries — 10 matches, one team sits each round. The grid handles any count from 2 to 64.
Double round robin?
Not as one grid — the matrix records a single meeting per pair. Run two brackets (first half / second half) and add the standings.
Everyone finished 1-loss-apart. Tiebreaker?
Head-to-head first — read it straight off the grid. Beyond that, point differential from your scoresheets.
