About BracketMaker.org

A free tournament bracket maker. No signup, no downloads, no premium tier.

BracketMaker.org lets you create single elimination, double elimination, and round robin tournament brackets, share them with a link, and fill in results as the tournament runs. The bracket page updates in real time across every device that has the link open, so the bracket itself can serve as the live scoreboard for your event.

Who runs this site

I'm Patrick White. I built BracketMaker.org and maintain it. It's part of a small portfolio of free utility sites I run.

The bracket maker started as a plain single-elimination tool and grew as people asked for more — double elimination with a proper cross-seeded losers bracket, round robin support, larger field sizes up to 64 participants, real-time multi-user sync, printable layouts, and templates for common tournament types like March Madness, NFL playoff brackets, office ping pong leagues, and cornhole tournaments.

Who uses it

People running tournaments — office leagues, fantasy football playoffs, classroom March Madness pools, weekend cornhole at weddings, chess clubs, regional gaming brackets, school tournaments, charity events. The site handles 2 to 64 participants per bracket. For larger fields, the usual approach is to split into pools or run a qualifying round first.

What it costs

Nothing. The site is supported by display advertising and otherwise hosted and maintained at my own cost. There's no signup, no premium tier, and no upsell. If you want fewer ads, the simplest path is a browser-level ad blocker; the bracket maker will continue to work normally.

How your bracket data is handled

When you create a bracket, the participants, format, and match results are stored on our server and made accessible at the bracket's URL. There are no accounts — the URL itself is the access mechanism, so anyone you share the link with can view and update the bracket. Brackets are retained indefinitely so old links keep working; if you want a specific bracket deleted, email the address below with the URL.
